We unveiled a draft of the movie crowdfunding platform we are developing. There are many questions about how the platform’s operation works on the blockchain.
On our 1.0 version of the platform, we include the ability of verified film screenwriters or filmmakers to register their scenarios.
The scenarios they register are listed on the WYL platform, which is recorded on the WYL blockchain. In response, WYL users can vote on what movie they want to make with WYL.
The film scenario, supported by the largest number of investors, is confirmed to be produced. Films that have been confirmed to be produced will be listed on the funding list.
Investors can participate in film funding with WYL. When the funding pool is full, film production is confirmed. The WYL Foundation invest Fiat in a film production company, backed by funded WYL.
Users who participated in funding movies through WYL will receive NFT that specify their investment interests. It can be sold at any time.
